Fatal Traffic Collision at Harbor Blvd. and Lambert Rd.
On Sunday, November 15, 2020, at approximately 2:45 AM, Fullerton Police Officers responded to the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Lambert Road regarding a traffic collision involving two vehicles.
Upon arrival, Officers located a black Toyota Tacoma that collided with a white Toyota 4-Runner. The 31-year-old male driver of the Toyota Tacoma had sustained serious injuries and, unfortunately, was pronounced deceased by the Los Angeles County Fire Department at the scene of the collision. The identity of the decedent will be released by the Orange County Coroner’s Office. The driver of the white Toyota 4-Runner sustained minor injuries. He remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Initial investigations showed the Toyota 4-Runner was stopped facing northbound at a red light on Harbor Boulevard at Lambert Road. The Toyota Tacoma, traveling northbound on Harbor Boulevard, collided with the rear-end of the stopped 4-Runner. The collision resulted in the death of the driver of the Toyota Tacoma. At this time, investigators do not believe drugs and/or alcohol was a factor in the collision.
