Suspect Identified in Series of Sex Crimes Related Cases, Additional Victims Sought

On Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at approximately 1:21 PM, a 15-year-old female and 16-year-old female were walking together in the area of Walnut and Richman in the City of Fullerton when a male, later identified as Kevin Bejarno (24, Fullerton), pulled up next to them in his vehicle, a 2000 black Ford Mustang, facing the wrong way on the street. Bejarno sat in his vehicle and called out to the two females to get their attention, but they ignored him and continued walking. Bejarno made a U-turn, and again pulled up next to the females, this time driving slowly alongside them with his genitals exposed while masturbating. He then fled in his vehicle.

Later that same day, at approximately 4:43 PM, a male, again identified as Bejarno, approached a 24-year-old female on foot in the area of Highland and Baker. Bejarno grabbed the female from behind and committed a sexual battery. The female victim was able to break free from Bejarno and he fled on foot.

FPD Detectives responded to the scene and after their investigation, Bejarno was placed under arrest on November 14, 2019 for the sexual battery case at Highland and Baker. He bailed out the following day, November 15, 2019. Bejarno was placed under arrest on the Child Annoyance case at Walnut and Richman on November 18, 2019, and he bailed out early yesterday morning, November 19, 2019.

Detectives believe it is possible there are additional victims from other crimes that Bejarno may have committed who have yet to come forward. Anyone with further information about these two incidents, or anyone who may have been a victim of Bejarno’s in the past, is encouraged to contact Fullerton Police Detective Lloyd White at (714) 738-6762.
