Armed Robbery - 200 block E. Orangethorpe Ave
On June 5, 2019 at approximately 3:38 pm, Fullerton Police Officers responded to a restaurant in the 200 block of E. Orangethorpe Ave regarding a robbery that had just occurred.
Initial investigation reveals that the two victims, who are both jewelry salesmen, were in the drive-thru of a restaurant when their vehicle stalled. As the victims waited in their vehicle in the drive-thru for a tow truck, three unidentified suspects approached the victims, who were both still inside their vehicle, and held a knife to one of the victim’s throats. The two other suspects entered the victims’ vehicle and removed approximately $100,000 worth of jewelry from the backseat.
The suspects then fled in a white colored SUV westbound on Orangethorpe Ave. The victims were not injured during the robbery.
