FPD Seizes Large Amount of Drugs and Cash, Arrests 6 People

Fullerton PD Narcotics Detectives received an anonymous tip regarding possible narcotic activity and sales in the 200 block of W. Santa Fe. After conducting follow up investigation and surveillance, FPD Narcotics Detectives served search warrants in the 200 block of W. Santa Fe and the 200 block of Orangefair Ave in Fullerton on Thursday night, May 11th.                         

As a result of their investigation and subsequent search warrants, FPD Narcotics Detectives seized over 14,500 Oxycodone pills, 2,000 MDMA pills, 4 pounds of Ketamine (which is a Dissociative Anesthetic similar to PCP), .7 pounds of Psilocybin (commonly referred to as Mushrooms), 1.5 pounds of Cocaine, 16.5 grams of methamphetamine, 85 Xanax pills, a loaded Smith & Wesson 9mm handgun, a ballistic vest, and over $65,000 in cash. 

Andrew Zea (29, Bellflower), David Garcia (27, Anaheim), Denis Prado (24, Santa Ana), Mickey Shulte (34, Anaheim), German Ortega (26, Garden Grove), and Jocelyn Garcia (25, Fullerton) were all arrested for various narcotics and weapons related charges. 

It’s worth noting that Mickey Shulte was out of custody, on bail, for assault with a deadly weapon in a separate, unrelated incident at the time of his arrest yesterday.
