FPD Officers Take 2 Guns off the streets in 2 stops within 2 hours

Early morning, March 26th, 2017, Fullerton Police Officers took two more guns off the streets in two separate incidents, both of which involved guns and drugs.

At approximately 1 AM, a Fullerton K9 Officer conducted a car stop for a vehicle code violation in the area of State College and Chapman. The driver of the vehicle was a convicted felon and on probation. During his investigation, the Officer recovered ...a large amount of methamphetamine and a loaded, stolen semi automatic handgun which was concealed.

Then, at approximately 3 AM, Fullerton Police Officers contacted two occupants in a suspicious vehicle in the area of Placentia and Yorba Linda. During their investigation, they too located narcotics and a loaded, concealed semi automatic handgun.
